Registration
Create your ResearchArk account with email and password or Google sign-up. Individual and organization accounts both supported.
Go to beta.researchark.eu/register to create your account.
Account Type
The registration form begins with a toggle to select your account type:
- Individual — for researchers, academics, and independent professionals.
- Organization — for institutions, universities, or research groups. You will be asked for the organization name in addition to a contact person's details.
Register with Email and Password
- Select Individual or Organization.
- Fill in your First Name and Last Name (and Organization Name if registering as an organization).
- Enter your Email Address.
- Create a Password that meets all of the following requirements:
- At least 8 characters
- One uppercase letter
- One lowercase letter
- One number
- One special character
- Re-enter the password in the Confirm Password field.
- Accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy by checking the checkbox.
- Click Register.
After submitting, ResearchArk sends a verification email to the address you provided. Open that email and click the confirmation link to activate your account. Until you verify, sign-in attempts will be blocked and the login page will offer to resend the verification email.
Once verified, go to beta.researchark.eu/login and sign in with your credentials.
Register with Google
For the fastest sign-up, click Continue with Google below the form. A Google authorization popup opens. Select your Google account and grant ResearchArk access to your basic profile (name and email). Your account is created instantly and you are signed in immediately — no email verification step required.
You must accept the Terms of Service checkbox before the Google button becomes functional.
Beta Access
If you received a beta invitation link, open it in your browser. The registration page automatically validates your beta code and pre-fills your email address (locked, so it cannot be changed). Complete the remaining fields and register normally. Your beta access is linked to your new account upon submission.
After Registration
Once signed in, you land on the main dashboard. You will be prompted to complete your researcher profile — adding research interests, institutional affiliation, and optionally an ORCID identifier. This is optional but recommended because ResearchArk uses your profile to personalise funding recommendations in ArkSearch.
You can update your profile at any time from Account Settings.
Next Steps
Proceed to Login & Authentication to learn about sign-in options, or go straight to the Dashboard Overview.
