Dashboard Overview
A guided tour of the ResearchArk dashboard — funding recommendations, quick actions, account stats, and recent activity.
After signing in you land on the dashboard at beta.researchark.eu/dashboard. It is your home base for funding discovery and platform activity.
Top Navigation Bar
The navigation bar is present on every page.
Left — Logo: click to return to the dashboard from anywhere.
Centre — Module links:
- ArkSearch — funding discovery and search
- ArkAssist — AI chat and application management
- ArkSphere — research networking and spheres
- Pulse — research trends and signals
- Graph — CORDIS knowledge graph explorer
- Explore — dropdown with section anchors for each module
- Contact Us — support and feedback
Right — Controls:

| Theme toggle | Switch between light and dark mode. Your preference is saved. |

Funding Recommendations
The main panel of the dashboard (three-quarters of the page width on desktop) shows personalized funding opportunities ranked by AI.
Each opportunity card displays:
- Match score — a composite relevance score built from: base semantic match (25%), vector similarity bonus (up to 20%), eligibility match (up to 45%), and deadline urgency (up to 10%)
- Funder name and award amount
- Application deadline
- Applicant type (who is eligible)
- Star button — click to add the opportunity to your favorites instantly
Use the Refresh button (top right of the panel) to fetch fresh recommendations. A Last Updated timestamp shows when the data was last loaded.
Quick Actions
The right sidebar opens with a Quick Actions card containing six shortcuts for the most common workflows:

Below Quick Actions, the sidebar shows:
- Calendar — up to 10 upcoming funding deadlines from your saved searches and favorites.
- My Applications — your 5 most recent applications with their current status.
Account Stats
The second row shows usage metrics across the three core modules:

Each number links directly to the relevant section of the module.
Recent Activity
The bottom row is the full-width Recent Activity panel, split into three columns:
- Messages — recent ArkAssist chat sessions and direct messages. Links to
/messages. - Connections — connection requests, sphere joins, and new followers from ArkSphere. Links to
/arksphere. - Notifications — searches run, favorites added, and application updates. Links to
/notifications.
Each column shows up to 4 recent items. Timestamps display relative time ("just now", "5m ago", "2h ago") for recent events, and switch to calendar dates for older activity.
